ok, I'm going to play along with todd because he's such a trooper.

Things have been a little crappy lately, since you ask. so to feel better, there have been lots of getting tarted up and going out for some late, boozy nights. it's been fun, but I think my liver is going to suffer for it at some point.

I joined an online personal site. well, my friend filled out the profile for me. that feels pretty pathetic.

I'm going to Mexico in nearly a month to stay with some girlfirends on the beach and party during el dia de los muertos. that's going to be some fun times. i'll post a picture here maybe.

question: should I dress up for the festival? My friends wanna, but my mexican friend says that's only for tourists. but I'm a tourist. but do I want to LOOK like a tourist, aside from not speaking spanish and being the palest of pale anglos?

it's me. how are you? that's good. i'm okay too. i bought 3 albums this weekend. actually one was free since my local store likes me and gave me their promo copy. sorry subpop. anywho. i bought feist's the reminder. which i've already been listening and like. and kudo's to her for her recent boost of fame. i also got kevin drew's spirit if. which from first listen is very nice. and the free cd was the new iron and wine. i only have caught the first few tracks so far. not sure what i think. but i&w takes me a listen or 2 b4 i start to enjoy more. anyways you guys should "listen" to these too if you want. you know you know. remember that one place. and then you could say what you think about them. and we could have a discussion about it. or you could also say "hey todd this is what i've been listening to lately", or, "hey todd this is what i've been doing with my life and here's a picture of it", or, "hey todd i found this funny video on youtube i like tee hee". anyways have a good weekend.

it doesn't get any easier getting old. derek jeter owes me 150 dollars. i'm gonna sucker punch him next time i see him. boddingtons. jameson. maker's. i lost. how did 2 guys drink 150 dollars worth of booze. no one even flashed titty in my face. the friendly rivalry between 2 friends made it worth every cent though. however, i am paying for it physically today. working an 11 hour shift. only 30 minutes into it and i just want my mommy.

do you ever wonder

what it would be like if certain bands never hit megaband status and were the hit of the hipster circle for a month or two? or vice verse where an unknown band of yours was actually a world wide phenomena? example: dave matthews band is being discussed over some "pbr's" standing around some over tattooed too tight jean wearing hair hanging in eyes homo hipster kids. or, every time you decide to give the radio a chance again you cringe to hear they're still overplaying built to spill which drives you insane and can't see why anyone would listen to this shit. it's funny to imagine it being that way. i don't base my thoughts on bands on their status, more their music, however, i guess i wonder if their status was the opposite if it would have much impact on them. also. led zeppelin is getting back together. that's awesome. but it also made me wonder if page can still play.
