I didnt end up doing a list of my favorite songs this year because I just couldn't rank them. It's easier with albums because their are so many deciding factors, ranking songs is like comparing alligators to armpits. How do you say that a song like Bros. by Panda Bear is better than an Andrew Bird song? I dunno, i couldn't do it anyway. So, with that being said, I just threw up some of my favorite songs to dl. 28 tracks, 29 if you count the R Kelly. I'm already kicking myself for leaving off a few tracks, but such is life.

Anyone else seen this (sigur ros live dvd) yet? A friend of mine bought it and brought it by my place the other day. It's breathtaking. Beautifully shot and that sound is so so good. The basic premise, if you haven't heard anything about it, is that the band decides to return home to iceland and perform a series of unannounced free shows all over Iceland and they filmed the whole thing and recorded the performances. So beautiful. I'm going to be buying a bunch of copies of this to give out as christmas gifts. Super highly recommended.
