this album was referred to me a long time ago by i can't remember who, but i only listened to it within the past month or so. and holy shit. i can't stop.

i can't believe how under-appreciated this is on the internet. it has a metacritic rating of 69, which is ridiculous.

What did you fine people like this year? I did my usual year end list yesterday, which can be found at my horribly neglected blog right here. I found that this years crop of albums was a little lackluster compared to last year, which I thought was quite strong. I wish I had done top 30 or something because I felt bad leaving off a couple albums like the new Bonnie Prince Billy and the new Land of Talk record. Anyway, I want to hear what all of you really liked.

OK so I just did a google search for WIDF. 

Don't ask me why. I was actually looking for an old photo I took back in 2002 and I seem to remember posting it on there and was actually willing to try and search the archives for it. 

ANYWAY the point is, one hit landed on this thread on "All Things Not Weezer" called "boardies we want back." I didn't a quick read through. No Armentrout. 

But the masses are clamoring for the return of the MoogMagician and TheGrudgeX.

the recent music purchase game

my son begged to take my misfits cd with him to chicago for tgiving and i let him. he didn't come back with it. lately it's what gets played in my truck and i haven't put it on itunes. so i bought walk among us. and a wanda jackson cd. and for some strange reason i was drawn to go inside best buy today and the first thing i saw was guns n roses new album. i don't know if this applies to any of you besides sus, but growing up i loved em. this album is so funny to listen to how much of a piece of shit it is. i wish they'd cut the bull shit and do some reunion tour already. they'd make so much money. i still haven't received any camera in the mail to make a video of my life skyler. i like the new deerhunter a lot and missed them last night at a small venue to work for xmas money. i'm old. gay. meh. turkey day was good.. same old frying turkeys all day...
