It was great. Pieter's a sweetheart, setting a high standard for future deuce meet-ups. He's also very handsome; I'm afraid my crappy phone picture does him an injustice. But I think the warm spirit shines through. I recommend that you all meet him!
for the sake of not getting others knowing that i put an open link of our new album "openly" on the internet i will not mention specifics, please see tag info but, here is the main band i play in's album that is coming out on may 4th on tender loving empire (CD & 12" white vinyl!!!) probably the best sounding recording i've been involved with... invalueable deucers that have been so essential in leading me down this path of music, here is what i / we've been up to:
i'm attending pitchfork for the first time this year. i am visiting chicago for the first time. so far it seems like i'm paying 90 dollars to see pavement. which is fine by me. i did hear that modest mouse will be doing all requests, if that is so, my first request is that it be a 3 piece modest mouse. or a 4 piece with that tatted extra guitar player that used to be with them in the beginning.
i want to go to wrigley field
i want to drink whiskey with susan
i want to eat lots of food
i want to see some artwork
