i've been doin crazy stuff... went on a tour playing drums for my friend maggie morris while we opened for this rad giant band typhoon

and then during the tour they asked me to be their new drummer...
now i live in portland at their record label, boy gorilla, hq.
i'm gonna go back to school in the spring... down the street at psu...

sus your mexico trip looked sweet and while i guess your back in chicago, i'm still jealous you got those daze of warm weather... this dark at 4:30 cold and rainy shit's harsh.

maggie mo is a friend of mine who i played with in a band called Tart Noir in high school.. but then it broke up when we went to college n shit, but she's been doing solo stuff and I was recording her album, and while i was in europe i thought about typhoon asking for a show at my hosue in eugene in august and thought that they might be planning a tour... and asked if she and I could hop on as an opener... so we did... and then typhoon asked me to move to portland and play with them...

pie(ter) - im assuming you mean the thing i mentioned where i send everyone a super 8 camera and a reel of film to make a little movie? i would still really like to do that. problem is right now, the camera i have is kind of big and sort of irreplaceable, and i dont know if it could handle being shipped around the continent. so right now im shopping on ebay for a smaller cheaper camera that i could send to you guys without worrying. i think it could be really neat if everyone did it...
does anyone know what rob's deal is? it'd be cool if he did it too, in africa or not. and where the hell is p.a.? forget moog... trout?

the internet is stupid because it changes so quickly and because my computer is old and slow and as the technology gets better my computer dies and dies and dies. New comp is goal #1 for 2008. As far as waffles and what and all that, I am in the same boat as you skyler, no invites. I got into oink through my sisters boyfriend who was a ridiculous poweruser. He had the most insane ratio. He had a huge collection of classical music and he would upload ten or twenty new albums a day.
