sus do you like your new camera so far? i love mine. i would've liked to have spent another benji on another canon i was looking at but for the price i've been very satisfied. here are my fav pix taken w/ said optical device in 2007.
i might get into that once my house is a little more settled down. still have unpacking to do. just got hd dvr set up today. wondering how many creative hours of my life that will suck up. but it's a neat blog. i like the pic you took of the fig tree. it turned out pretty cool.
This is quite convenient. Let's say i was in the market for a new camera and was looking to spend somewhere between $500-$1000 on it. The only features I really care about are zero/very little shutter lag and that it work well in low light/weird light situations. Any recommendations?
no i haven't gotten it yet. I have to go to the DHL place and pick it up after work, probably tomorrow. i can't wait! your pictures look very nice. I want to take pics of bugs, too.
me too! i need some good pictures of mosquitoes. i was thinking of getting an olympus though, as a built-in stabiliser seems really useful, and i don't think canon's have those.
any of the canon point and shoot models that have "is" in the end of the model name have an image stabilizer. my gf just got the canon sd850is. which kinda kicks my camera's ass a lil. it's a great camera. i really wanted to get a camera with image stabilizer for my photos of birds or any animal but didn't want to invest at that time. but chris really i spent 6 months doing a lot of online research on these fucking things. if you're going for point and shoot. and spending 250 to 500 dollars. stick with canon. sony is a close second kinda but they're dicks for making you have only sony memory cards. go to best buy or electronic store with cameras talk with someone in person on any questions you have. then buy it on amazon you'll save a lot of money.
i got it and i love it! it's so tiny, with so many options to keep a camera dummy like me entertained. i had a lot of fun with that color accent feature this weekend.

you should get this

the little black dress of SLR cameras. it's inexpensive enough that you can invest in a decent lens.
