I just want to say hi. And thanks for taking me back after so long. I had been reading the message boards occasionally, what we used to call "lurking," harr, but then the message boards were gone and I actually miss you people.
also- let us all hope that RJM does not get hacked to death by a machete Hotel Rwanda style since he is in Kenya and that place has gone to hell in a handbasket since their elections the other day.
here's to new beginnings.

oh crap! I KNEW there was someone i needed to be particularly worried about in Kenya, but I couldn't remember who. I hope everything settles down soon and the situation don't even get close to Rwanda levels.

I was on AIM at home for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago and went out for a bit without signing off. When I came home, I had one of those messages that say "someone not on your list is sending a message do you want to accept it" and I clicked yes, and the message was from some guy (don't remember his AIM name, it was Mr. something or other I think) and the message was something to the effect of "you may not remember me but I used to post on widf and I hadn't seen you online in a really long time so I decided to send a message". I didn't reply for a couple reasons, mainly that the IM was several hours old and also just because I found it sort of strange that someone I didn't remember from such a long time ago (at least to me) obviously remembered me and kept me on their buddy list for so long. It was one of those "wow the internet is ridiculous" type moments. I probably should have responded as it more than linkely wouldn't have been anything more than just a hello, uhhh sorry I don't remember you, sort of thing. Has this happened to any of you before?
the only time i use im or anything of the sort is when my gf is out of town and we video chat using skype so i don't have to hold a phone and i try to get her to show me her tits

that sounds familiar, I know it was mr something and I think I remember a number in there. Who is that? If it's someone I should know I'm going to feel like an ass. In the IM he/she said their name from widf but I didn't recognize it so I closed the IM. I don't remember what it was.
my friend in high school used to post on widf too and that's his aim name... he used to post as trueasblue on widf way back thenwhen...
