Songs

I've been enjoying these songs recently. Yup.

Small Sins - On The Run
LSD and the Search For God - Starting Over
Beach House - Heart of Chambers
What Made Milwaukee Famous - Resistance St.
Julie Doiron - Tu Es Malade
Nina Nastasia and Jim White - Late Night

Also, go giants.

Fixed the julie doiron link. Last night was great, I couldnt have planned it any better. I defaced an old patriots jersey that i got for christmas from my uncle in boston many years ago during the game. I can't even read half of what my friends and I wrote/drew on it. The only legible things on it are "Tom Brady's Ass Is For Rent" and something that looks like it says "Pussy Hand". Memories.

beach house is good very nice danny, but uh, listening to some of these selections, i wonder, are you doing pills lately, or maybe a girl left you, or you're really deep in self thought about yourself lately, or marijuana is involved, or a little of both or all, commas, commas, commas,

My initial reaction was to be like blah blah blah angry retort, how dare you try to reason out why i like what i like etc etc blah blah blah. But, after a moment of deep reflection and true honesty with ones self I can say that surprisingly, you are fairly spot on in your observations. A few slight notes however:

1) no pills, i dont like putting science in my body.

2) girl did not leave. old girl reappeared for like ten cool seconds and then disappeared again.

3) coming up on 25 now in a few months, sort of not sure where i'm going etc. so yeah some reflection going on.

4)yeah that too.

5) fuck all that, these are still good songs regardless. i like them regardless.

6) regardless of how amazingly astute your comments were, i still question their validity.

regardless!

I agree on all counts. they're great selections, but they did make me think about my own down and out times, and then i wondered about yours. i wasn't going to say anything, but that's why we have lil'ass.

point being: we relate!

it was mostly just a lil joking since the songs seem to have a slower drony (drony?) i have to pee but don't want to get off the couch feel. that's all. but there is something that happens to a man/woman around 25, i think there's some brain development that occurs, and you achieve a higher level of perception which at times can be enjoyable, questioned, depressed, but regardless they are good songs
