fantasy baseballs
I don't follow baseball that closely and I'm told by yahoo that a few guys I picked are starting their years in the minors, but I'm keeping them on my roster. It's a yahoo winner league as I won my public one last year, almost entirely because of Ryan Braun Erik Bedard and like two good weeks of Yovani Gollardo or however it's spelled, none of whom I drafted.
nevertheless, my team:
C - Chris Snyder, Jarrod Saltysihaetinbinlkanf (minerz)
1B - Justin Morneau (people weren't picking him where yahoo told them to be picking him and he's Canadian so I did it, is he gonna suck this year or something?), Billy Butler
2B - Chase Utley
SS - Troy Tulowitzki, David Eckstein (ok ok blue jays blue jays lets lets play play ball ball)
3B - Mike Lowell, Evan Longoria (minors again, his name is almost Eva Longoria)
OF - Corey Hart (lol), Aaron Rowand (yahoo dorks say he'll suck this year right?), Justin Upton, Jacoby Ellsbury, Jerry Owens
P - Jake Peavy, Tim Lincecum, Rich Hill, Shaun Marcum, Homer Bailey (minrz)
RP - Francisco Rodriguez, Todd Jones

i think it's great that i don't recognize most of those names
I don't do the fantasy thing anymore, but I'm assuming people didn't draft Morneau that high because he's coming off a monster year and just got a huge contract, and sometimes that can lead to reduced numbers. I always just end up picking as many yankees as I can and then I win because everyone knows the yankees put up the nastiest offensive stats.
