new weezer stuff
Have any of you heard this stuff yet? A bunch of tracks from their next album leaked recently apparently. I stumbled upon them on Hype Machine today while reeeeeally bored at work. I can't decide what I think of them. They are very different, so that's good I guess. But they are also chock full of gay. Like seriously, each time you hear something that sounds good, Rivers starts rapping or just talking about random shit. My brain is rattled. I dunno, figured I'd see if any of you have any opinion on this shit. The supposed album cover is pretty ridiculous if its really the official cover. I love the ridiculous.

its definitely bad, but some of it is so ridiculous it sort of has to be heard.

ok weezer, the 'leaking' thing was interesting in 2002. i think the music world has progressed a little since then.
ok yea.. this is so ridiculous and bad at parts, i can't decide if i like it. i feel like it's not bad enough. obviously not good enough. i wish they would just commit to one extreme...
maybe they'll have a secret song on the cd

i think it is easily bad enough to gain some cult credibility, most of those songs are just ridiculous (not in a good way). the single is sort of catchy though.
