what are you guys listening to
particularly new music. i just sorted my itunes by 'date added', and the only new music i've added that i've listened to in the entire month of april is the crystal castles album. which i think is really cool even though it's not my style at all.
in other words what should i download.

p.s. i have not seen waffles invites open since the time i sent those two out, even though some how i now have 4 to give out.
i would like one but someone already knew that the8devilsofkimon at mac dot com blagh ablha
i listen to ghostface killah a lot
bulletproof wallets
what are waffles invites?
i'm listening to old shit or shit that came out in the last two years, for obvious reasons. the new animal collective ep (water curses) is cool, and the new clinic album (do it!) is my favorite of theirs in a while.
where can music be downloaded these days? i'm guessing we no longer post files for each other exclusively...
waffles is the replacement for oink.cd
new(ish) albums i've found on there so far that are fairly new:
silver jews - lookout mountain
tindersticks - hungry saw
cut copy - in ghost colours
m83 - saturday's youth
boris - smile
typical pitchfork fare i suppose. 'll have to look into crystal castles

i'm sure i meant to write something else....
Oh.
What's oink.cd?
Anything by High Places
The new Dodos album (Visiter) is pretty great. I also really like:
Le Loup - The Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nations Millennium General Assembly
The Black Angels - Directions To See A Ghost
The Black Keys - Attack and Release
Anything by Fleet Foxes
The new Frightened Rabbit album but most of you would probably hate that....
Agree on water curses and new m83.
i like the new WHY? album
also rjm i think you would like
she and him
if u don't know
it is m ward and zooey deschanel
i think i remember you liking m ward
it's more zooey than m
but good
new destroyer album was pretty decent
new stephen malkmus was mediocre
it's malkmus nothing has changed
except for janet drumming which is nice live
there is a new rza album to keep your ears out for
and i haven't listened to new tapes and tapes because frankly i dont think i really need to
i love the m83 song graveyard girl, chris... and the video might be my favorite of all time
rob - oink.cd was this invite-only music torrent tracker which was really really good, had like everything, really high dl speeds, strict ratio rules. it was shutdown by a joint interpol and whateverthefuck effort a while ago. waffles is basically just as good.
Agree on Graveyard Girl. The part with the dog faces floating in space is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. My life has improved so much since i got waffles. I have to upload some new shit though. My ratio is pretty crappy sharing just what i download.
oh, that's cool. i've been wondering what napster (the old old version) has become now, and how filesharing continues. glad to hear it still does... i got on an old version of soulseek i still had on this laptop to see what it was like and found it pretty much useless. sounds like a good idea putting some regulations on sharing in place. does the RIAA still target individual users or have they given up and just target stuff like oink.cd now?
i'll post some thoughts on some of the music that came out while i was gone... mostly heard just the major shit...
