God this place is dead. I'm going to see Wolf Parade tomorrow night. I think "Kissing the Beehive" is one of the best songs of the year. Anywho. Hello. Hope everyone is having a good summer. I've been swimming a lot. I recommend it.

yeah let me know how the show is, again i will mention i'm upset that this is the 2nd time i've had to miss wolf parade. k.t.b. is a great track so is fine young cannibals. the whole album is pretty good, it's pretty simple rock but it ties together well.
wow. wolf parade was amazing. sold out show, dan said it was their first ever "real show" in austin other than playing ACL fest and shit like that. The crowd was nuts, I haven't seen such a strong crowd reaction at a show here in austin in quite some time. The definite highlight for me was the set closing "Kissing The Beehive". By that point the crowd was going nuts and WP absolutely killed that song. When they left the stage the crowd continued to clap and scream for damn near 7 or 8 minutes straight when they came out for an encore. It wasn't an overly long show, maybe an hour 15, but they held my attention all the way through. Seriously Kissing The Beehive was one of the most awe inspiring examples of live music that I've ever witnessed. Their albums are great but the live show completely blows the albums out of the water. Anyone and everyone should go see them on this tour if you have the chance.
i like this album a lot more than their first one, actually. wp aren't coming here on this tour, but the handsome furs are, guess that might be fun.
