hi deuce, sus, and everyone else who occasionally browses here. hope you're all doing well. the gza is playing here next month and doing a whole set playing liquid swords album. that'll be nice. girl talk comes here in october. i might let loose. school is back and lots of kids are here, restaurant is busy. i make sushi now. among other duties. it is nice. pay is good. i've been playing lots of online poker and doing alright. and soul caliber 4. i hope the red sox keep their heads out of their asses and make the playoffs. it is still hot here. ok love you buh bye
i saw handsome furs play last week, real good show. been listening quite a bit to them, conor oberst and sigur ros. also i like fleet foxes, kira kira and the new walkmen album.
i just got my work schedule changed from a traditional 5 day work week to a 10 hrs a day 4 days a week schedule thus giving me 3 day weekends every weekend for the foreseeable future. I'm happy about that.
I just had the past 3 months off, but tomorrow I go back to school/work.

it sucks all the fun out of crafting. I've been basically non-productive for at least a year. I'm thinking if I quit trying to sell stupid buttons, I may actually make things I can use and that i like again.

me i just got back from vancouver yesterday, i drove out with a friend moving to kamloops and flew back. i got my wallet stolen at our hostel but other than that it was amazing. i have pictures of bears and mountains from jasper national park that i will post sometime.

well the concert cost money but it was outside and being just outside the fence isn't all that different from being inside. i would've paid but my wallet remember
I was indeed in Ottawa recently, but I dont know when of if I'll ever go back. I think I'm done with the city itself so I just have to keep inticing my Canadians to come to Chicago.

I met Rolf briefly during SXSW but didn't know who he was, then a couple days later I saw The Acorn at The Mohawk during one of the Hot Freaks parties and saw him playing and made the connection. It's funny when I met him I thought he said his name was Ralph.
i met him one night at a roadside bar. i was walking in, he was walking out. we went back inside, sat down, had a few drinks. but all he kept talking about... was glory days.
