first i thought you all might be interested in seeing an awesome picture of some awesome dudes.
and um the other thing is i got into graduate school at the University of Toronto so i guess i'll be movin there....i'm all kinds of excited and nervous.

hey thanks! it's my nephew and my dog (left to right: sam, fred).
and yeah it's the information science program. the letter i wrote was really all critical theory stuff though so i'm encouraged at how fast i got the offer, based on how much of an english student essay i submitted.
Congrats man! Really cool you got into grad school. I'm quasi canada ignorant, how far is Toronto from where you are now? How far is it from where you went to undergrad?
i'm in Ottawa now which is like 500km northeast of Toronto, my undergrad was in Guelph which is like 100km west of Toronto.
i'm happy to be moving there in fall because Toronto summers are like riding a stationary bike in a sauna wearing a garbage bag but the garbage bag is full of garbage still. i guess i'm probbaly gonna move in with my folks for teh summer though to save money. eeep
but thanks! i'm looking forward to facing some challenges again. by which i mean the Canada vs. USA library and archive challenges, which i'm pretty sure is just this huge game of red rover, where i'll be calling sus out.
